Cole’s Wild Bird Products started as a backyard experiment in the early 1980s when Richard and Nancy Cole realized the birdseed they bought wasn’t attracting the songbirds they loved. What began as a small operation mixing and bagging seed in their garage grew into a full-time family business, with Richard’s daughter Elaine eventually joining in.
